Yes, Google Earth is great. But, I am concerned that, overtime, people with bad intentions will use this information for bad purposes. It may seem "cool" that I can find my own house at Google Street View, but I feel like Big Brother has invaded my privacy. (Google did not ask my permission to video tape my house!) Now everyone in the world can look up my address and see what kind of house and neighborhood I live in and maybe even what the best to way break into my house would be!! Think about it. When the internet first got started, no one envisioned how pornography would take hold of it and flourish on it. Or how scammers would go phishing and victimize innocent people. There is no one single organization that can be held accountable for standards of use of the internet. And if the government gets involved (which it already has to a small degree), then people claim infringement of free speech and if legislation were passed to impose standards, those of us who use it responsibly may be adversely affected.

My point is simply let's not go overboard on praising the benefits of Google and Google Earth - let's balance it with caution and concern of it being misused.
