Can You Believe Anti-Smoking Ads That Encourage Kids to Smoke?

Despite all the evidence smoking is one of the more damaging things you can do to your body and pocketbook, teens are still becoming addicted to "cancer sticks." And the reasons why may exist right under our very noses...

All those TV ads designed by tobacco companies to discourage smoking, based on a study of some 100,000 American teens, don't do a lick of good at best and, in some cases, may encourage this nasty habit!

Researchers compared the airing and frequency of company-sponsored smoking ads from 1999-2002 and if they were seen by teens (ages 12-17) in major American media markets, with surveys collected from teens living 48 states during that same time regarding their opinions about tobacco. No surprise, there was absolutely no connection between those TV ads and their beliefs or intentions about smoking.

Makes great sense, since a former Philip Morris director of its youth prevention campaigns testified in one trial the true goal of these programs was merely to delay teens from smoking, but never completely dissuade them from doing so, until they turned 18.

Your best option, if you're struggling to quit or trying to help a loved one, is complete abstinence, of course, with the help of the Emotional Freedom Technique, the effective energy psychology tool used daily in my practice.

Obviously, it is best to refrain from using tobacco products. For information on their specific harmful effects, fraudulent marketing, deceptive business practices and public relations campaigns, check out www.thetruth.com. Tobacco industry giants have been found guilty of conspiring and willingly concealing information from the public that tobacco products were known to cause cancer more than fifty years ago. These corporate giants have committed crimes against humanity by consciously choosing to sacrifice human lives for continued profits!

My recommendation is to breathe the purest air possible while flooding your body with oxygen. For some people this may mean getting out of clustered urban areas periodically and for many people moving. Focus on deep, belly breathing to expand the lungs to the full capacity. When we are under physical, chemical, or emotional stress, the body’s natural reflex is to breathe very shallowly through our chest. This deprives the body of the proper quantities of oxygen needed to maintain a healthy internal environment. Begin to recognize this throughout the day and instead breathe deep to allow the lower portion of the ribcage and lungs to further enlarge. I recommend performing deep breathing exercises three to five times per day for at least five minutes. This will help oxygenate and alkalinize the body.

Nobel Prize-winning author Dr. Otto Warburg discovered that cancer and all viruses are unable to live in an oxygen-rich environment! When your body pH is acidic, there is very little oxygen in your blood and tissues. When you flood your body with oxygen, your body pH goes from acidic to alkaline.

My best-selling book Cracking the Cancer Code exposes the secret, insider information about "the business with disease!" I'm honored to have contributions by Dr. Mercola in my work.
