Dangerous 'Grey Goo' in Nanotech Frankenfoods

Academics, consumer groups and Government officials are warning that the use of nanotechnology in food could threaten both human health and the environment. The particles being used are so small that they can pass through membranes protecting the brain or babies in the womb.

Some critics have talked of the threat of the creation of a “grey goo” of tiny particles with hidden harmful properties.

Nanotech health supplements are already on the market, and the first of hundreds of new nanotech foods are expected hit shelves sometime this year.

I'll honestly admit I wasn't really aware of nanotechnology until a recent article here, so, I went searching.  I have to say this stuff scares the @#$% out of me.  Will those of us on a whole foods, nothing processed diet be able to avoid this stuff?  Will labeling be required or will it be snuck in without our consent?

Even if we are able to avoid them ourselves, they will still be around....We need to start researching methods of protection and eradication of this stuff from our bodies.  It's going to be a weird century.

You want scary, check out: Acrylamide CAS No. 79-06-01, on most search engines.

It's in the majority of hydrogenated or process food fats and oils, microwavable, baked, deep fried, confections, cosmetics, and oral care products, etc.

CANCER CAUSING at any ingestion level...

I've been hearing a lot about this Acrylamide CAS No. 79-06-01, on a message group I belong to, it's prevalent, I need to know more and avoid it for sure!

I've read that The Daily Mail [the source here] is a more of a yellow press sort of rag, much like Midnight or other of the worst of the tabloids publications here in the US. Their research is as suspect as that of the FDA.
