Eating Conventional Chicken Linked to Antibiotic-Resistance

Bacteria from conventional chicken and from people who ate the chicken became resistant to Synercid, a strong antibiotic used to treat antibiotic-resistant bacteria, more often than from vegetarians or antibiotic-free chicken. In fact, the study found it was rare to find resistant bacteria among antibiotic-free chicken, while the majority of bacterial isolates from conventional poultry were resistant.

The bacteria studied was a gut bacteria that is causing increasing numbers of infections in hospitals, and the study indicates that the use of antibiotics in poultry (in this case the antibiotics were used to promote growth) may harm humans' health in the long-term.

Aside from the antibiotic problem, conventional chickens eat feed that is laced with pesticides, which may then be transferred to you. This gives you all the more reason to seek out organic, free-range chicken (and other meats). Organic, antibiotic-free chicken is less contaminated with bacteria, is free from pesticides, antibiotics and hormones, and is raised more humanely than conventional chicken.

Baby chicks start out with lots of medication and antibiotics and are ready to eat in 8 weeks from birth. These are baby chicks that just stand , eat and squirt poop in a meatrix situation . The chicks are started off with medicated water and continue with medicated pesticide feed along with the close growing meatrix quarters they need lots of medicine to keep them alive and growing . Sometimes their bones break as they cant hold up their weight , man has done something to their cartlidge as the joints are now large and gristly at the  joints.  Who knows what type of bloody solution the chickens are processed in and where all that bloody water goes for us later as our drinking water !

We must be stupid , to put up with this !!!  As a wife that cooks, I have to create a sterile  field to get the raw chicken ready to cook.  Everywhere I touch with chicken contamination hands has to be sanitized with  bleach and I dont dare touch any other surface , everyplace that chicken has been raw has oodles of bacteria left-behind .......... Now WHY would I want to eat this crap ???   With ALL the stuff listed in the above article ,that I cant even pronounce muchless  understand all that you article contains .......... I do GET IT and the fact is our  factory farm chicken is just flat NO GOOD  and UNHEALTHY!
