Laughing Rats
When was the last time you heard an animal laugh? Did you even know they could? This short video tells the story of how they realized animals do laugh, and thoroughly enjoy tickling games.

By installing "bat detectors" that bring sound into human auditory range, they were able to determine that these rats are indeed laughing it up, and so may you!

We have a lot to learn from these little guys, Their simple lives, they still have the ability to laugh. The majority of the people in the world can't seem to find anything to laugh about anymore. Overworked, overstressed, overcrowded, fast paced, and poor nutrition, has made people ill-humored. I think It's grand that the people who are taking control of their health, are getting back to a simplistic lifestyle and finding time to "laugh with the rats".

The link to hear the rats laughing brought up several other videos.  Check out funny cats and laughing babies on youtube.  I spent way too much time watching and laughing last night.  One guy makes the funniest videos with cats and puts funny captions under the pictures.  It was lol funny!

I used to keep rats as pets and I can confidently say that rats are one of the most intelligent, friendly, and devoted pets you could ever hope to own. Mine used to chase my hand exactly like the ones in the video! They were always eager to play and would run towards me if they heard my voice and ride around on my shoulder. The level of sophistication in their interactions with me and each other is so human-like it is amazing. I hate fact that they are used in medical research because an animal as aware and intelligent as a rat has a great capacity to suffer.
