Shocking Macrophotography Pictures of Processed Meats

Have you ever wondered what processed meats look like up close? You may not want to know... especially after you view the photos we've released today of some popular processed meat products. These macro photos, taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT and a specialized high-end macro lens, show processed meats from Jimmy Dean and Oscar Mayer in jaw-dropping detail. You'll see blobs of fat, stringy textures, curious color variation of meat parts and black chunks of something we cannot yet identify.

As bad as processed meat is- these pictures don't prove a thing.  Pictures of organic grass fed steaks or hamburger would look just as gross.  You could even make oatmeal look gross this way.  How about a chemical work up on the meat along with it at least.

Saw these last week on Mike Adams' site. The words "lunch meat" always struck fear into me...now I know why. I'll bet the real Italian versions of bologna sausage and salami sausage are wholesome and tasty, unlike  the stuff that, say, Oscar Meyer packages for us.

Truly, there is nothing wrong with tongue, or cheek meat, both of which I use to make head cheese (a form of pork sausage). However, there is no resemblance between the homemade product and the factory-formed rolls that include clots of fat and road kill in the recipe..........
