I’m always on the lookout for time-saving tips, and this one is incredibly useful if you use elevators a lot or need to get to a certain floor in a hurry.

Though I posted an article on how to avoid crowds on the elevator in the past, a video is worth a thousands words. Check out the video below and learn how you can simply change the elevator into express mode and bypass all other floors.

This might work in large cities such as Chicago or New York, it would be counter productive to use it where I live. especially since out tallest building is only 5 stories tall.  Why not use the time to make a new friend.

Yes you may save a minute of time - but think of all the extra energy used to shuttle you personally around.

Not very eco-friendly - why don't we all drive in cars by ourselves - as public transport and carpooling is just a waste of time.

This is exactly the attitude we needed to change in america.  that time is more important then anything else (except maybe money!)

Think Green = Think Health - I expect more from you Doc!

For some reason, this just strikes me as the same as cutting in line.  Whether you are alone in the elevator or not.  Someone my be hoping it will stop and pick them up on the way.  They may be late too. . . you know?

I agree Zambini, this is just rude. What gives so many people the feeling that they (or their time) are more important than everyone else?
