The Incredible World of Nanotechnology

Advances in nanotechnology from washing machines to self-cleaning bathrooms are coming faster and smaller than ever.

At a recent conference in Melbourne, Australia, nanotechnology was the main attraction, above all other technologies. But, have you ever wondered how small nanoscale technology can be?

As you can see in the accompanying image, a 1-millimeter microchip is big enough to be carried by an ant with its mandibles. By comparison, a nanometer equals about a billionth of meter. But, if you increased the size of the ruler to the length of a kilometer, a proportional size of a nanometer would equal close to the width of your hand, if not smaller.

As our body of knowledge grows, no doubt, so will the innovations in nanotechnology, especially in the realm of fighting cancer. But, even if nanotechnology were here today, they would work with natural therapies and not be a replacement for them.

I often wonder if we humans - well us 'western' and 'civilised' ones anyhow, know when to stop!? Where do we draw the line? Does anyone in technology-land actually have a line they won't go beyond? Is the imminent smack in the face that is Global Warming not enough to wake us up to the ridiculous stuff we insist on doing here...? Bad and unnatural enough we've created sugar, white flour, pesticides and herbicides and terminator GM and drill oil and make plastic and burn coal and dump our excrement in the ocean (instead of back on land where it ought to go)... on top of all that crazy, crazy stuff... we've also got heaps of technologies that bombard our bodies and auras and bio-electric fields with countless invisible frequencies from radio stations, tv, broadband, mobile phones, wi-fi, wii, satellite communications and what have you... Is it any wonder we're out of touch with nature - we collectively can't FEEL nature anymore! And now someone wants to develop nano gadgets that will work INSIDE our bodies? And those wee yokes will communicate with other gadgets outside us? Ah please - give me a break! Stop. Enough. Let me off this planet. I made a mistake. Really. I'm sorry for intruding but I think I'm at the wrong party! Thought I was stopping in with a species that had some sense. I've really got to get going now. Thanks for all the good times. Good luck to you all. And I do hope your eventual collective smack in the face from this planet leaves enough genuine folk alive to rebuild a sane version of your species... (now where did I leave my space ship?)... Honestly, it makes absolutely no sense to me to praise ourselves for creating a nano technology that might help us deal with problems created by obsession with "progress" (which usually means doing things in ways that nature doesn't!). Those of you who have read Phillip Day's books "Cancer - why we're still dying to know the truth" and "World without AIDS" / "The truth about HIV"will know where I'm coming from. And those who haven't... well, perhaps find a copy and read them and then tell me why we might ever need to consider nanotechnology to "fight" illnesses and problems we've created for ourselves. It doesn't take much of stretch to see that one day there will be a malfunction - or a deliberately created malicious one - and another nano will have to go in after the rogue one. And what if breath one in someday while walking past an overturned lorry... will I be guilty of theft in the same way that a farmer is guilty of stealing if wind-blown GM infests his private seed stock?! It could get really, really crazy. Let's just not go there at all please! The more we go down the technology road the more we seem to destroy nature... and I didn't come here for 'technology' - I came here for the oceans and the beaches and the forests and the air and the mountains... let's look to nature for answers. Not our (supposed and self-effacing) ingenuity with gadgets. Humans like to think of themselves as the smartest creatures here cos we invent stuff. Well I have it on good authority that Dolphins KNOW FOR A FACT that THEY are actually the smartest creatures here - because they haven't! "So long - and thanks for all the fish!"

Sean, I agree with you whole heartedly. The odd thing about the 1st world is that we are on a downward spiral and most people do not even realize it. The side effects of our current manufacturing processes (pollution, GMO, radiation, etc) spawn a multitude of physical and mental diseases in our society. Everyone is more or less sick in one way or another. Just check any person's medicine cabinet at home or their desk drawer at work. To solve these new problems, we create more new things with unknown side effects and creating even more and new types of pollution which in turn unleashes even more illnesses on in our society. The next logical step in this insane process is to set up agricultural farms on Mars and ship those products to Earth.

Of course, the shipping process will take 10 years so the food will have to be flash dehydrated, radiated, denatured, implanted with nano robots that continually attempt to replenish the foods nutrients that we have identified, and packaged in 2 feet of titanium. All this for a product that I can produce in my own backyard with almost no energy input at all.

The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them. -- Albert Einstein

I totally agree with you on this one.  We need to stop messing up nature, we need to get back into nature, or the world will be speeding into oblivion.  The more we manipulate what we have, the worse it will get.  We need to get rid of all this unnecessary technology.  I don't want a fucking nanobot in my body.  Who does?  That is ridiculous to think that someone would do this.  It is all about tracking us anyhow.  If they get these things in us, then they can use them to track us and know where we all are at every corner.  Just wait.  I know if they do these things, I'm getting the hell out of here.

Nano-technology Pathogen Released into our Environment

Was Morgellons, a nano-technology machine, released into our environment deliberately or by accident? If by accident, then our government leaders and scientists have let us down by not having sufficient safeguards in place to protect the human race.

On the other hand, if Morgellons was released deliberately, then what is the ultimate purpose?  Preliminary research indicates that Morgellons is a nano-machine, capable of creating hideous new life forms based upon the DNA it comes in contact with. These creatures create incredible pain and suffering in it's victims; symptoms include chronic fatigue, 'brain fog', intense pain deep within the body's joints and bones, depression, surface lesions with multi colored fibers growing out of them and a complete compromise of the body's immune system, allowing various infections to reek havoc upon the victim.

But what is the ultimate purpose of Morgellons? These self-replicating devices have abilities not yet known by scientists.  One thing is for sure; it took BILLIONS of dollars to create this invader and that means a very large defense contractor must have been involved, but to what end?

Evidence shows that there is a viral nano video camera imbedded in some of the blue fibers growing out of the lesions of victims. But to whom are images transmitted to and why?  Who is in control of these machines?  Is the purpose to control people, monitor them or 'see' what they see?

These nano-machines are in the air we breathe and therefore in the water and food supply across the earth.  That means that everyone is exposed and possibly infected.  It appears that Morgellons is highly contagious as well.

So where do we go from here?  Are we to continue to wait while the CDC 'gets it's act together 'and finally begins it's investigations? How long will that take?  How many people are currently symptomatic and how long does it take , once exposed to Morgellons, to become symptomatic?  The questions are endless. To date, there has not been an effective treatment found for Morgellons.  Victims are self-treating with pesticides, de-wormers, antibiotics, creams, lotions, nutritional supplements and the list is endless. There may be some temporary relief, but nothing seems to effectively treat Morgellons.

The traditional medical community is following the exact path it did when AIDS/HIV and Lyme disease first showed up: they accuse the victims of being delusional and prescribe anti-depressants and anti-psychotics because they are unwilling to conduct proper examinations, primarily because the combined symptoms are "not in the book".

So the Morgellons sufferers become the victims of the medical community, often ridiculed and denied any meaningful support whatsoever. Their wallets are emptied, their families often abandoned them, they loose their jobs, their homes, their cars and their support systems.  That is enough to make anyone appear to be delusional.

Apparently the only means of support remaining for Morgellons victims is the Internet; message boards abound with theories, treatment protocols and such, offering some understanding and support from fellow sufferers. Many believe they can mitigate their symptoms by reducing their intake of carbohydrates, taking nutritional supplements and generally boosting their immune system so their body can fight off this foreign invader.  The problem is that the invader is so small, the immune system may not be able to ‘notice’ the invader and kick into defend mode to fight off Morgellons.  Victims seldom have fevers and other than suicide, there has not yet be any reported deaths attributed to Morgellons.

What will it take for humanity to turn our attention to this emerging pandemic?  Perhaps very famous people, such as athletes, politicians, celebrities and government officials will have to become infected before we truly put the resources necessary to discover exactly what Morgellons disease is and how to effectively treat it.  In the mean time, individuals, children and entire families will continue to suffer until an effective treatment protocol is found.

Ultimately, there will be some very interesting explanations from whomever is responsible for the release of Morgellons into our environment.  Perhaps, there may even be consequences to the people and organizations who released Morgellons, either accidentally or deliberately.

About Morgellons.  A person with Morgellons may want to check if they had any dental work done with glass cements/fillings etc being used.

I found I had, and removed the dental work and my health improved dramatically.
