More Bad News For Vaccine and Flu Drug

Even in these days of 24/7 media coverage, it's hard to imagine three major flu vaccine stories all hit the news services within hours of each other, all of them conflicting and potentially very deadly for your health.

Canadian researchers discovered a slight rise in the incidence of Guillian-Barre syndrome, a condition similar to multiple sclerosis, among those given flu shots. Even though the lead researcher claims the risk of contracting Guillian-Barre is tiny, getting a flu shot ups that risk by some 45 percent. Not so surprising, considering recent reports some college-age patients contracted Guillian-Barre after being given the meningococcal vaccine.

Also rather timely is yesterday's news about more than 100 recent cases of bizarre behavior and three deaths related to falls mostly in Japan connected with Tamiflu, and most involving children. This comes about a year after the deaths of 12 Japanese children, again linked to Tamiflu.

Yesterday's news swiftly prompted the FDA to update Tamiflu's label so it's more in line with the Japanese version that warns patients about abnormal behavior. No doubt, all these side effects are related to the fact Japan has used Tamiflu more often than any other country in the world (30 million prescription over the past five years compared to 8 million in the United States).

Sadly, every use of Tamiflu does more to line the pockets of fatcats like former Secretary Donald Rumsfeld than it protects you. If you follow my proven flu guidelines, however, you'll won't need Tamiflu or any other vaccine.

According to Dr. Johnathan V. Wright et al.of Health Science Institute here is what is in the flu shot.  Thymerisol, a mercury compound, acetone, formaldehide(pickling agents) a live chicken virus and last years virus... Reason being is only God knows what this years virus is going to be and there is no way to innoculate even a portion of the globes 6.5 billion people.  Want to avoid colds and flu and other disorders?  Keep the body alkaline.  There is a Dr. Thomas Levy M.D.and J.D. (smart huh?)   that has a teriffic book on Vit. C.  Got to talk with him personally.  Other ways to alkalize...  The four alkaline minerals......  Calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium, load up.  Try plain old Arm & Hammer soda.  Teaspoon to large glass of water.  Keep up the dosage along with any other alkalizing things on hand.  This will cost you pennies. As to C, ever notice what fruits are in cold and flu season?  Citrus, citrus, and more citrus.  Nature is not stupid.  When is mankind going to get in sync with nature?

Alkaline?? i would say acidic as viruses thrive in alkaline evironment.

When i have flu I bring myself into ketosis, this 'cooks' the virus: after 24 hrs i already feel ok again, after 3-4 days I revert back to normal (low carb) eating:

Alkaline is more effective for bacterial infections (no experience though)

regards

When Tamiflu first came out our MD prescribed it for my daughter for mild flu symptoms.  I was not prepared for any adverse effects and none were described in the literature that came with the product.  I always ask for the patient information and side effects. After 1 dose my daughter was literally bouncing off the walls and could not stop.  Needless to say she only had one dose of the Tamiflu and nobody else in our household has had any dose of that medication.

Our daughter is a long track speed skater heading off to Calgery for college in 2007. I've thought about the meningococcal vaccine for her but have now decided NOT to have her vaccinated thanks to your timely article. We must always weigh risks/benefits, and even though overall immediate risk may be low, I would never forgive myself if she developed a serious complication in attempt to prevent or minimize a disease for which she will be at low risk.

I live in Canada. I used to faithfully get a flu shot yearly until I learned about the implications of Thimerosol, and  other precautions available for avoiding the Flu. I saw the news about Guillian-Barre syndrome as a result of the Flu shot, and even though I oppose flu shots, I have to admit, that piece of reporting was stretching things quite a bit. Come on, three more cases in two samples of a million? Unless I heard it wrong, that hardly sounds statistically significant to me. I would be embarrassed to base a case on that.
