The Web of Drug Deception Aimed at Your Doctor

Last week, I reminded you how important it is to take responsibility for your own health. A report issued recently by the New Jersey Public Interest Research Group (NJPIRG) describes how hard that can be, considering all the energy and money evil marketing geniuses waste on convincing you and, far more often than not, your doctor.

Some interesting factoids from the study, based on a review of enforcement letters sent by the FDA to drug marketers between 2001-05:

  • A surprising 62 percent of the false or misleading messages the FDA cited targeted doctors.
  • The deceptive messages targeting doctors included unsupported claims, unproven uses and misrepresented risks.
  • A third of total number of drug companies that received enforcement letters accounted for two-thirds of all the notices received.
  • False statements from drug sales reps made up 30 of the deceptive messages in various FDA notices.
  • Clinical trials were cited at least 82 times for unsupportable health claims.

As you know, waiting for any change from Congress and the FDA can be hazardous to your health, which is why your best bet remains taking more responsibility for your own decisions.

What we forget to realize is that doctors are human beings.

Just because you have a professional degree it does not protect you from emotionally deceptive marketing messages. Weather it's on TV or if it;s a drug sales rep with his sales pitch.

Most buying decisions are made on emotional impulses not rational thinking.

If we made buying decsions rationally. There would be no $5000.00 60 inch HDTV's, no $600.00 PlayStations, and  99% of  pharmicutical companies would be bankrupt.

It took me a long time to realize doctors are not concerned with preserving the public health trust. The medical industry, which includes hospitals, doctors, nurses, clinical laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturers, walk in clinics, and pharmacists all want to remain employed, and do whatever they can to promote their industry. In the interest of growing the medical industry as a whole, it was decided centuries ago, to treat symptoms of illness rather than the illness itself.

This approach hasn't always worked. There are some illnesses which will kill, very quickly, if not eradicated. Basic hygiene and cleanliness is a disease prevention measure acceptable to the medical industry, but it still manged to twist cleanliness into creating more illness. Antibacterial measures have cause mutations that make bacteria resistant to the antibacterial measures. This is most evident in hospitals, where the bulk of resistant staphylococcus infections arise.

The medical industry takes care of itself, first and foremost. Modern medicine is not designed to cure any disease, unless the cure for one disease will cause another, necessitating suppression of symptoms with pharmaceuticals. It is against the law in The United States to treat or cure any illness with anything that is not an FDA approved drug. An American citizen, giving himself medical treatment, can be prosecuted for a federal felony. There are also state laws against providing medical treatment without a license to practice medicine, even to yourself. People have been prosecuted for treating their own illnesses. This is a fairly common practice if one achieves success, and then attempts to make the cure public information.

A Native American tribe in Washington State, USA offered to donate a 99% effective cancer cure to the American public. When this offer was made, FDA mercenaries, paid by pharmaceutical company bribes, raided the reservation. The medicine man who assembled the data disappeared, along with all his research. A cure for diabetes was found in the Amazon jungle. When the data about this was published, the man who discovered it was offered $35 million dollars to keep quiet, and turn over his data to a pharmaceutical company. He refused, and disappeared without a trace, along with his research.

Treating symptoms, with FDA approved drugs, for as long as you can afford them, is the modern medical model. There is no money in curing disease, and it is illegal for people to do it themselves. That's why I never cure anything. I simply use chemical agents, potions, nutritional supplements, tinctures, tea, compresses, and food to change the attitude my body has toward disease. When the attitude my body has toward disease changes, my body heals itself. Pharmaceuticals cover up symptoms, which are important in recovery. The body's symptoms are a cry for help, and a detailed analysis of what the body needs.

I have found most people are willing to die rather than accept the fact their doctor keeps them sick. I've offered to help many sick people. Here is my absolute favorite comment, from the wife of a lung cancer victim: “We've already spent $3200.00 on a new drug. If he takes something that will cure him, we won't know if the drug is working or not.”

Perplexed by deceit, out of touch with what's really important, the general public seeks to find facts. They will ask every question imaginable, except if the answers they are getting from doctors are the truth.

A rather wicked deception exists when applied science is practiced without moral restraint. This is actually sorcery. The bottom line is: If people stop sinning, they won't bear the temporal punishment for sin in their physical bodies. When doctors treat physical illnesses, without moral restraint, the temporal punishment for sin is alleviated, while the eternal punishment remains intact. In the grand scheme of 'The All', distressing symptoms of any kind can be treated with a combination of proper knowledge, medical care, and confession of sin to Jesus Christ. What does it benefit a man if physical life is preserved, while his eternal soul is cast into Hell.

As a final comment, “Brave New World”, by Aldous Huxley shows how the traditional Christian family can be replaced through industrial processes, but at the cost of the human soul. His book came true. Humanity has lost it's souls through sin, and failure to observe Jesus Christ as The Almighty Son of God. Doctors are trained to turn human beings into cash making machines. The medical industry sees ever human being as belonging to it, and if a person doesn't pay out, they become dispensable. Throughout The United States, many doctors mislead patients on federal disability so they will die. In a world where some human life is worthless, it is only a matter of time before your human life is worthless.

No wonder many M.D.s are not aware of the adverse effects of medications.  Especially if they are recieving incorrect information from the drug companies.  Frequently the don't have time to read much else because many people want someone else to be responsible for them.  This shows why you have to take responsibility for your own health and be a partner with your doctor, not a doormat.

I had my doctor of a year quite me, found another, but he wanted as the other did to go off my herbal, and to take for the rest of my life cholesterol lowering drugs, it really ticked me off, here I paid for this visit to see him, and he would not even talk anymore to me just gave me the bill for my co-pay to insurance after I shared with him my I would rather do it with diet and exercise, herbals, now I'm now looking for Licensed Naturopath in my area, I been juicing  and and eating raw food. but I have a long way to grow.
I do all our cooking at home so it's either steamed veg. I eat allot of organic brown rice n beans, I just find I can't even trust anything the medical community says anymore, I'm a diabetic, the diabetic coach told me to use "Smart Balance spread, I got to looking at the ingredient and it's Veg. oil, just because it does not have trans, or sat. fats, they recommended it, it is corn oil, so I did stop buying it. I guess I go back to butter.
I do have high blood pressure, diabetic type 2,  BMI 45, both my
cholesterol are not in good, (they say) but I take fish oil, Garlic, etc.
I wish and hope I can find a good
Licensed Naturopath in my area, I don't have any faith in the medical systen as I did, they don't listen, just read your test and start telling you what they want you to do, this is my body, and I'm the owner, shame on them!

The effect of the  extensive maketing of these drugs on Doctors is amazing. You know after they obtain there degrees most of the continuing education of Doctors is sponsered and created by drug companys. Good information on the benefits of excersize a healthy diet clean water ect, is minimused . The dubious benifits of many prescription drugs are maximized. In some cases natural things like fish oils or vitamin d are actualy discouraged. I wonder how many cancer deaths , cases of depresion and other ailments have been caused by the medical communitys blind and untested accersion that sunlight is harmful that is at least untill a drug conpany can patent it. In england within the last year there G.P have accused there speacilist of being pawn of big pharma. I had the occasion to see here how completely controlled many Doctors are .I went to a doctors house his wife was on about 8 different meds Iasked him isnt she having any side effectsto these drugs .He says "yeah but the sales rep said thats how you know its working"     Vince
